Datafeedr Price Comparison Set Set-up Guide

The following guide covers how to display price comparison sets for any product in your WooCommerce store or by using a shortcode.

Before you begin

Before you begin be sure your system meets the following requirements.

1

Install WordPress

If you haven't done so already, install the latest version of WordPress.

2

Install & activate the Datafeedr plugins

Go here WordPress Admin Area > Plugins and activate the plugins below:

Important!

Please know that the generating or updating of a single comparison set will require between 2 and 6 API requests. If you are using the API Starter Plan, consider upgrading to the Basic Plan.

3

Add your Datafeedr API keys

Go here WordPress Admin Area > Datafeedr API and enter your API Access ID and API Secret Key. Then save your changes. You can get your API keys here.

4

Select affiliate networks and enter affiliate IDs

Go here WordPress Admin Area > Datafeedr > Networks and select the affiliate networks with which you have an account.

Important!

Don't forget to add your affiliate ID for each network you select. Here's how to find your affiliate IDs.

5

Select merchants

Go here WordPress Admin Area > Datafeedr API > Merchants and select the merchants which have approved your affiliate account.

Important!

Only select merchants which have approved your affiliate account. Selecting merchants which have not approved your affiliate account will result in missed commissions and possibly broken "purchase" links.

Pro Tip!

Only select merchants which are related to the topic of your website. For example, if you have a pet-related store, select PetSmart but not OfficeMax.
