Add image description, caption and alt text during image importing

By default, when your product images are imported into your Media Library they are imported with the product's title as the image's title.

Here's how to add image's description, caption and alt text during the image importing process.

Create a custom plugin

If you haven't done so already, create a custom plugin.

Add the following code

Add the following code to your custom plugin and edit as necessary.

Save your changes

Now new images will contain more information in their meta fields.
